The latter option indicates "No backups". If I now double-click on that entry (on the right side of the screen) I then have options to delete it or to Show Backups. If I choose the BACKUPS option in the left menu and then the Browse option in the middle of the screen I can then identify the place where I copied that TIB file: D:\Acronis\2013\May/DATA-Weekly1.tib I go to the HTTP-based interface, having installed the service locally on my workstation. I attempted to download the trial version of Acronis Backup 12 in order to do this. Run the installation package (starts automatically if downloaded from the product) and click Update : Wait until the update installation finishes: Now you can use Acronis True Image. Make sure Try&Decide is off (for help, check this page ). What I need to do is to restore one or more files from this backup. Do not update the product while in Try&Decide mode. Mounting the drive I can see that a particular folder includes files like: \May\DATA-Weekly1.tib (approximately 4GB in size) Supposedly on the "2013" drive are the file(s) that I need. I have inherited a setup which involves at least ten external USB-based hard drives each labelled with a year. ![]()
